No, if stored properly, honey can last forever! Due to its low moisture content and natural preservative properties, honey does not spoil. Crystallization is normal and does not affect quality.
No, we do not recommend giving honey to babies under 12 months. Honey can contain traces of bacteria that are harmful to their developing digestive system.
Crystallization of honey is a natural process, if this happens you can easily liquefy it again: Place the honey jar in a bowl of warm water (max. 40°C) and stir occasionally. Do not use a microwave, as this can destroy nutrients and affect the taste.
Our honey is produced by Bulgarian beekeepers. We work exclusively with partners who use sustainable beekeeping practices.
Although we strive for the most natural honey possible, not all types are certified organic. We do guarantee that no pesticides or chemicals are used in the vicinity of our beehives.
